COVID PROTOCOLS: Currently I am not requiring clients to be masked at the office or during treatments, although this is subject to change at any time. Please respectfully consider wearing a mask if you are unvaccinated due to the close proximity between you and myself during the treatment. I will always wear a mask upon client request with no questions asked. Both myself and the chiropractor in our office are fully vaccinated/boosted. If you are not feeling well for any reason, please call me to reschedule your appointment. If you arrive sick (no matter what the cause), you will be asked to reschedule. Massage will NOT be beneficial while not feeling well. My treatment room is sanitized between each client. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Types of Massage Offered:

  • Swedish Massage- Your basic relaxation massage, generally full body but can be area specific. Long, relaxing strokes are used. This is a good massage for first timers to gauge what style of massage you prefer and for both myself and I to better understand the locations of your problem areas.
  • Deep Tissue/Pain Management- Targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. Not to be confused with a deep Swedish massage. A true Deep Tissue massage targets certain areas of the body and is not a full body treatment. If you want full body, request a deep Therapeutic massage.
  • Sports Massage- It's not just for athletes anymore! It's also used by people who are currently active or would like to become more active. The focus isn't on relaxation, but on preventing and treating injury and enhancing athletic performance. A combination of techniques are used, and focus is often on muscles with lack of flexibility or injured areas that prevent the person from competing at their potential or keep them from doing certain activities. Facilitated stretching is a common technique, which helps to loosen muscles and increase flexibility. Also excellent for particular conditions such as carpal tunnel, plantar faciitis, and tendinitis.
  • Orthopedic/Injury Rehab- Orthopedic/injury rehabilitation massage focuses on problems with the client's musculoskeletal system. The objective of the massage is to release tight muscles, help to stretch shortened muscles and tendons, and decompress joints. The goal is to normalize the soft tissues of the body, both to treat specific conditions and to keep clients generally healthy and fit. Massage therapy is highly affective in assisting with the treatment and healing process of many injuries. Common injuries/conditions I work on frequently with great results are low back injuries, herniated disks, tendinitis, medial and lateral epicondylitis (golfer and tennis elbow), sciatic nerve pain, migraines, knee pain, and rotater cuff injuries. Rehabilitation of painful adhesions due to scar tissue is also commonly treated. Pre and post surgery treatments are also frequently performed. I have advanced training adn experience with orthopedic and injury rehab work, and it's always been my specialty! :)
  • Positional Release- A technique incorporated into regular massage sessions that involve manipulating the muscle into it's natural relaxation state. A tender spot in the muscle is found and the moved to a position of relaxation, causing the muscle to regain it's natural, relaxed form. Positional release is particularly effective in relieving tight neck muscles.
  • Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy- Trigger points are overly sensitive or tender points (or "knots") in a particular muscle caused by bound up or tense muscle tissue that may or may not refer pain to another part of the body. Trigger point therapy involves putting static pressure onto the trigger point until it "melts" back into the relaxed muscle. Trigger points are the main culprit in tight muscles, and clients experience overwhelming relief when they are released. This type of therapy is used in every type of massage I offer.

Great news! You can use your flex spending or health savings account for the cost of your massage. I will provide you with a receipt to turn into your insurance company, or I can also run your flex debit card if you were provided with one. I have many clients that do this and find it very beneficial.

All service types are the same price. The price varies only depending on length of time. Please keep in mind that when requesting the treatment, you decide what you would like worked on. A full body massage (with no focus areas) can be done in one hour, or you can request just the back or any other area for any amount of time you'd like. As the client, it is your choice! I may offer you suggestions of what needs some work and maybe give you exercises or stretches to do at home if necessary. All massages include 5 mins of undressing and 5 mins of dressing time that is built into the time you book. Table is heated with an amazing memory foam cushion, a weighted blanket is available upon request, and all clients have the ability to choose exactly what music they want via Apple Music.
